We Cut Every Joint Properly
Before any new pointing is installed, we mechanically remove the failed joints using an angle grinder.
Each joint is cut to approximately 20mm deep and shaped into a dovetail profile wherever possible.
This creates a mechanical lock within the paving joint, helping hold the new pointing securely in place.
We Compact Every Joint By Hand
Once the chosen pointing material is installed, it is manually compacted into the joint using specialist pointing tools and trowels.
This process removes air pockets and voids that are commonly left behind when contractors simply brush in jointing compounds.
